Welcome home, Emma!

Your first car ride in the bright Tucson sun can be a bit distressing, especially after the dim lights of the NICU. But one day before her 2nd week birthday, Emma Joy got to come home!

But it was with great rejoicing that everyone not only got home safely, but began to relax immediately!

Emma likes her new room...

And her bassinet...

And untethered time with Grandpa (not to mention Grandma, Mom and Dad.) Thank you all for your prayers. She is doing wonderfully! And we are all sleeping better. Our first outing tomorrow will be to see the pediatrician, and we'll report all th good news tomorrow, Lord willing.
