Visit to Bloomington

We had a lovely trip to see Ben and Elsa in Bloomington over the July 4th holiday weekend.  We enjoyed walking around the beauty IU campus, and eating in some of its amazing ethnic restaurants...We visted Elsa in her native environs in the IU School of Opera and Ballet... We enjoyed a hike and picnic at Griffey Lake with Elsa while Ben suffered through a migraine (poor guy!)...Enjoyed worship, beer-boiled brats, and games on the 4th...And returned to Griffey Lake for canoeing on Monday... Had lunch with the Stauffs, and hiked along the rail trail in south Bloomington.  We played lots of games: especially Dominion. All lovely! Tomorrow I'll try to post some amazing video of nature: we watched a battle for life-and-death between a water snake and a frog while canoeing!

Ben and Elsa were excellent hosts and we had a wonderful time.  Thanks, guys!
