Ben has just received an e-mail confirming that he has passed all the requirements for his Master's degree in Latin. Well done, Ben! We are looking forward to hugging him in person tomorrow when he arrives in NM for a few days.And I understand Ben and Elsa have added a gerbil named Valentine to their family. A beautiful wife, a Masters degree, and a gerbil. What more could a guy want?

I would congratulate Valentine on being owned, but I'm not quite sure of the etiquette on that point. I've never been personally acquainted with a gerbil, you see.
