Many moms were gathered for Elsa's shower on August 10th: in front are Grandma Hanson (Chris' Mom), Elsa and Grandma Finnegan (Dave's Mom), and behind are myself and Donna (Moms of the grrom and bride respectively).

What a surprise to find your blog and see your face again after how long? And your boys are getting married?! How is that possible? We are a few years away from such momentous events in our family. Miriam is 21 and studying Chemistry, and Jonas is just 11 and nagigating the whole new world of middle school.
It's amazing that Mary, you, and I were each called to the teaching vocation. I'm starting my fourth year teaching English as Hastings High School. Mary moved from elementary to middle school language arts this fall, so she can keep an eye out for Jonas.
I so enjoyed reading all your news and musings. More than that, I saw your mom and dad and heard a bit about your sisters Gwen and Jenni.
Drop a line if you can, although it sounds like you have a lot on your proverbial plate at the moment.
