We have piles of several interesting things around our house, but here are just two of them. Above, cherries from our neighbor's tree (and no, this is not all we picked!) And below, a pile of finch babies in the hanging basket on the back porch. This is day 4 of their little lives. Note to self: if you want interesting photos of the finch family, do not take the photo in mid afternoon, when no amount of jostling would waken them!
