Wednesday with few words

After Ben, Elsa, and E. went home in late July, we kept the girls, and headed to Colorado to meet up with my parents and three of my five siblings.  We had a lovely time!

 What an amazing amount of love and joy this girls has brought into our lives.  Happy birthday, sweet Emma!

I am still catching up, Gentle Readers.  After the Tucson crew was here, we enjoyed a weekend with the Phoenix Finnegans.  What a wonderful time with family and an opera thrown in!

A few recent projects

Early in the summer I finished a couple of quilts.  Good thing I finished them in early June, because since the last week of June, life has been filled with company and travel and adventure.  But here are some views of the two quilts I finished.

This is a picnic quilt, about 53"x53" in size.
